Our main activities
Youth Exchanges (YE)
We organize intercultural youth exchanges under the Erasmus+ programme. These exchanges provide young people from different countries with the opportunity to meet, learn from each other, and develop their social and intercultural competences in an informal and supportive setting. Participants explore relevant social themes while building international friendships and networks.
Training for Trainers (TOT)
We offer both basic and advanced trainings aimed at enhancing the skills of youth workers, educators, and community facilitators. Topics include non-formal education, digital literacy, coaching techniques, resilience, mental wellbeing, trauma awareness, and conflict transformation. Our trainings are experiential, practical, and co-designed with participants.
Competence Development
We design and implement programs that help youth develop transversal competences such as leadership, critical thinking, emotional intelligence, and communication. Many of our programs are grounded in widely recognized frameworks such as YOCOMO and ComPas, but we always adapt to local realities and participant needs.
Study Visits
We host and participate in international study visits that allow organizations and youth professionals to observe, share and adopt good practices across borders. These visits offer practical exposure and foster collaborative learning across contexts.
Partnerships
We build strong and lasting collaborations with local and international organizations under the Erasmus+ framework. These partnerships allow us to jointly explore innovative practices, respond to youth challenges, and share expertise across borders. We are involved in both KA1 and KA2 projects, where we act as coordinator or partner, depending on the scope and expertise needed. We believe in equitable cooperation and shared ownership.
Solidarity Projects
These are youth-led, small-scale initiatives supported by the European Solidarity Corps. We mentor and support young people to design and implement their own community projects, focused on local impact and social inclusion. Themes include sustainability, social justice, cultural heritage, and intergenerational dialogue. These projects provide first-time youth leaders with a chance to take initiative in a supported environment.
Project Management
We support organizations and grassroots initiatives in developing, submitting, and managing Erasmus+ and ESC-funded projects, ensuring inclusive and impactful implementation. We offer coaching, writing support, partnership development, and dissemination strategy planning.
Volunteering
Volunteers are at the heart of EdUcAntwerp’s work. We provide diverse volunteering opportunities for young people and adults who want to contribute actively to their communities.
Volunteers support local activities, international projects, youth exchanges, mentoring, workshops and community-based actions. Many of our volunteers grow into peer educators, facilitators, and even professional youth workers over time.
Volunteering offers a safe space for personal development, responsibility, skill-building, and meaningful social engagement.

Methodologies
Our methodologies are deeply rooted in non-formal education principles, experiential learning, and participatory approaches. We use sport as an entry point for dialogue, reflection and inclusion. Our social-sportive model combines physical activity with competence development and community empowerment.
We train youth from beginner (junior facilitator) to advanced levels (senior trainer, project coordinator), helping them build careers and confidence. We support teams to grow into peer-led collectives capable of initiating their own actions.
We also develop and test new tools, toolkits, and interactive materials that can be used in youth work. We strongly believe in open source sharing and in contributing to collective knowledge in the youth sector.
